An OTF knife, compact and dynamic - sounds too good to be legal? Boker makes it possible and presents with the Boker Plus Micro USB OTF an OTF automatic knife (Out of The Front) with a 41 mm long utility blade that complies with German law. This is made possible by the classification of the BKA (file number SO13-2022-36166803, more at www.boker.de), under which the knife is not considered a weapon according to §1 para. 2b due to its small blade dimensions. According to the BKA's classification, the Boker Plus Micro USB OTF is covered by §42a of the WaffG and is thus subject to the usual carry restriction on one-handed knives. As a handy automatic knife, the little genius quotes the characteristic design of common USB sticks and relies on bite instead of bytes: cardboard boxes, packaging or ropes are effortlessly cut through by the cutting blade made of D2. The switchblade knife has a slide on the front of the handle that allows the blade to come out of the handle with an energetic click and then discreetly disappear again when pressed again. Thanks to this practical one-handed operation, small everyday cutting tasks are completed in almost no time at all.
Thanks to the lanyard hole, the knife can also be carried ideally on a key ring. Visually, the elegant satin finish of the tanto blade harmonises perfectly with the black handle made of CNC-milled 6061-T6 aluminium and the grainy tip-down (r) clip.
