The Böker Daily Knives AK1, created in cooperation with the young knife maker Alex Kremer and Daily Customs, is a versatile small everyday knife that can be perfectly adapted to your own needs. Alex Kremer, born in Fulda in 1993, began making his first knives as an 18-year-old student, and to this day his numerous tours through the vast expanses of Scandinavia still serve as a source of inspiration. The AK1 he designed is equipped with a short reverse tanto blade made of powder metallurgy RWL 34, a high-performance stainless steel that is ice-hardened to 61 to 62 HRC.
The ergonomically shaped handle scales, which are comfortable to hold, are made from certified imported grenadilla wood. They are easily disassembled with the included Torx key and can be replaced with a variety of alternative shells co-developed and produced with Daily Customs. In addition, the elaborately manufactured lanyard hole at the end of the handle can be turned around when the handle shells are removed so that it disappears into the handle. Like the complete full tang, it is made of RWL 34 with minimal manufacturing tolerances. In this way, the knife can be adapted to your own requirements in the shortest possible time and changed depending on the situation.
Supplied with a high-quality black leather sheath that has a sewn-in Ulticlip and can be easily attached to the hem of the bag thanks to the locking spring clip. This allows the AK1 to be drawn effortlessly while the Ulticlip reliably holds the sheath in place. Handcrafted in the Boker knife factory in Solingen.
