The joy of playing without being too playful. Exciting without being excited. Modest, full of self-confidence. Characteristics that make the Boker Plus Sanjo extraordinary and special.
Guy Poggetti, knife designer from Marseille in France, is fascinated by art, technology and craftsmanship and incorporates this dedication into his designs, as with the Boker Plus Sanjo. Named after the small town of the same name in Niigata Prefecture, the pocket-knife is designed in a neo-Japanese style.
Equipped with a ball-bearing Tanto blade made of VG10, the gentleman's knife tackles everyday cutting tasks with stoic efficiency. For a tidy look, the flipper disappears completely between the stainless-steel liners when open, which reflect the striking stonewash finish of the blade and form the inner centre of the folder with the robust linerlock for locking. The elegant appearance is rounded off by finely coordinated handle scales made of brown burlap micarta, from which the backspacer is also made.
Supplied with a high-quality nylon case, a tip-up clip (r) and a "Sanjonara" greeting from the land of the rising sun.
