Tommaso Rumici is a passionate knife user and designer. The quality and popularity of his designs is evident in many cooperation projects with established knife manufacturers. His creed is that the first and indispensable requirement of functionality doesn't have to be mutually exclusive with a knife's aesthetic. His stance is in keeping with the tradition of Italian design, which has always been a gold standard in this respect. Rumici's latest design, the Nimrod, is a modern tactical backlock folder, with a pared down look and the elegant lines typical for the designer. With the blade made of an extremely durable powder-metallurgical Böhler M390, it has a versatile geometry with a thumb hole for opening and a fluted thumb ridge for supporting powerful cuts. A glass breaker adds to the knife's tactical functions. At the same time, it can be used to attach the repositionable clip (tip-up, l/r). The G10 handle with a pronounced finger choil ensures a secure grip with or without gloves.
